Hillhead Farm Lets have been providing hotel rooms in Stirling and local area since 2009. Our rooms have been converted from a traditional Scottish farm steading and have been finished to an extremely high standard. They are set around a peaceful and private traditional Scottish cottage garden with panoramic views towards Stirling Castle, Wallace Monument and the Field of Bannockburn.
Our hotel rooms are close to Stirling city centre and is available all the year round and perfect for business or a short break.
Breakfast and evening meals are available across the road at the Pirnhall Brewers Fayre – but they are not included in the price. We are located close to the M80 and M9, providing excellent transport links to Glasgow, Edinburgh and the north of Scotland. Our hotel rooms are are surrounded by stunning countryside with views over to Ben Lomond and Ben Ledi.
We also have plenty of on-site free parking and free hi speed wi-fi. There are many fantastic golf courses close to us including Gleneagles, Turnberry, Troon and St.Andrews – all of which are within 1 hour and 20 minutes from us.
We are located in the countryside close to the historical town of Bannockburn, within walking distance of the Bannockburn Battlefield site where Robert the Bruce defeated the English armies in 1314. There are plenty of walks into the open countryside from our rooms. We are only a five minute drive from Stirling city centre which has some great shops and a diverse choice of restaurants. Our hotel rooms are located in a former farm steading and are on two levels – please let us know if you want a room on the ground floor. Our accommodation has proven to be very popular so book early to avoid disappointment.
We accept small well behaved dogs, please view our pet policy. Ther are some fantastic walks on our doortstep into the open countryside for dog owners. There is also plenty of dog friendly restaurants close by, ask us for more information. We are a dog friendly hotel but not all of our rooms are dog friendly so it is vital you let us know in advance if you are bringing one
